I was hoping to revisit Shiretoko this February but as things turned out, can't go. Disappointed, I decided to relive my 2006 experience through writing an article for the Toowoomba Bird Observers' newsletter. You can read the article Where the Earth Ends

Wow I'm so excited now! I really like your article, especially how you use the word "Where the Earth Ends"...never knew that the word Shiretoko has that kind of meaning before. I'll be going there in a couple of days. Hope things will work out right.
