| Pink-eared Ducks and Grey Teal Wyreema Water Treatement Plant, Queensland, Australia September 28, 2014 |
I took these pics when out with Michael Atzeni last September. Pink-eared Ducks are wonderful little ducks but all the birds here were very shy and hard to approach. I took these pics with the D800 and a 400mm lens. Very difficult to get satisfying close-ups but it was a thrill to see them in the air above our noses.

Thanks, Stuart. It is sad about Richie. He presented the cricket all my life in Australia.
