These birds come out of the rainforest for a bit of free seed at the Bunya Mountains National Park.

They are both quite beautiful Russell. From here in the UK it's dificult to imagine that there are many parrots species in Australia which are actually widespread and numerous,as well as endangered. The only one we have is Ring-necked Parakeet, and that not numerous and from feral escapees.
