Double-barred Finch

Abberton, South-east Queensland, Australia

March 25, 2013

Some pictures of Double-barred Finch as seen at Abberton last year.

Cute little birds. Always a wonderful sight. Very glad to get these pics.

Thanks again to Kay and Kevin taking me to visit Bill and Eileen at Abberton.

They area lovely little finch, and it's especially nice to know that they are back at Abberton after the devastation there.

I just adore the finch family Russell; what delightful photos you captured here when visiting Oz. BTW, my sister-blog, http://snaphappyonline.blogspot.com.au/ is where I have the non-birding shots, and more from Carnarvon Gorge if you're looking for a breather there :)
