Still nothing new or current to report in Niigata so here are some old files from 2007. Some Galahs happily grazing at Picnic Point, Toowoomba as seen after a nice afternoon out with Rene.

What a combination of colours. Australia is full of amazing birds, really. Wish I can visit the country someday.
Just amazing and slightly amusing to see pink parrots Russell. As Pete says, what a stir a single one would cause in the twitching fraternity if it turned up somewhere out of the blue. No pun intended.
The word 'galah' always makes me think of Alf Stewart from 'Home and Away'.
Saw a big flock of these in Qld a few years ago. Splendid birds for a Pommie tourist like me !
