Took three hours off this afternoon. So glad I did. The light was really beautiful. Went for a walk around Toyanogata, Niigata.

Nice selection Russell. I like the kite but the last redstart is an absolute cracker - its the expression I think.
The opening photo is just perfect! Common Pheasant is a bird I would like to see more often. Lately the place where I photographed it last year in June has changed a lot and I didn't see any....
